How To Use Pantone Colors Of The Year In Your Kitchen [Part II]

After receiving such great feedback on our Pantone Color of The Year article, we’ve decided to bring it back and make a second article; to give you the audience more options on how to implement a color you like, that Pantone has announced his year.

Below you’ll be able to find other, and inexpensive options when it comes to adding a pop of color to your kitchen. Many of them not requiring as much manpower as the previous list.

Appliances (Mixers, Coffee Machines, Etc.)

Painting can be a hassle, and not many people are looking to get their hands dirty, and possibly make a mess while painting your furnishings or doors. Instead, if you’re willing to toss in a little penny into renovating your kitchen, invest in new appliances in the bright color! There are plenty of appliances that you can keep out as statement pieces, such as mixers, espresso machines and coffee machines, as well as fridges, and toasters. The list is endless and it’s a great way of adding some fun to your kitchen!

Fixtures (Accent knobs, and Light Fittings and Fixtures)

One of the easiest mini makeovers is changing the fixtures in your kitchen, they’re easy to replace and when you’re in the mood for changing them you always can! It’s neither hard to do, nor is it time-consuming. If you’re looking to add greenery to your kitchen, think of switching the knobs and handles on your cabinets and drawers with a colorful fixture, or you can always switch your light fixtures and fittings. It’s a great way of somewhat revamping your kitchen.

Decor (Paintings, Wall Decals, and Rugs)

Decor is another option when it comes to adding greenery to your kitchen. There’s so much you can do when it comes to decorating, you’re able to use greenery in paintings that you can hang above your skin, or on the walls surrounding the room. If you’re looking for something a bit more simplistic, wall decals are a great option as well, all you’ve got to do is choose your color and you’re good to go. Lastly, if you have some kind of rug in your kitchen whether it’s under the dining table, or right beside your sink, switch the old with the new and choose greenery as the color of choice.

Greenery (Plants, Flowers)

When thinking of greenery, the first thing that comes into your mind is plants and nature. One of the easiest way of adding something natural, and fresh into your kitchen that sports the Pantone color of 2017, is adding a plant. Plants come in a variety of shades, and many of them similar if not exact to greenery. Add some plants and flowers to your kitchen, to bring nature into it without having to really change anything at all. It’ll probably be a good idea to look for shade loving plants unless you’ve got a lot of sources of natural light pouring into the usually closed off kitchens.

Produce/Products (Coffee Bags [Starbucks], Limes, Herbs, Granny Smith Apples)

The last option we have for you, if you’re adamant on not renovating your kitchen whatsoever but you’re still looking to implement greenery into your kitchen, is simply setting out a few ingredients that hold that color; for example limes, you can add a couple into a clear glass bowl and simply have it on display. Or you can have a small fresh herb garden in your kitchen.

Let us know what you think and if you’d implement greenery into any of your kitchens!
